Absztrakt: Az ún. „fenntarthatósági kormányzáselmélet” az ENSZ 2015-ben kitűzött Fenntartható Fejlődési Céljait tekinti törekvései keretének, olyan folyamatokat és kapcsolatok rendszerét elgondolása alapjává téve, amelyek segítenek konszenzust teremteni, szakpolitikai javaslatokat kidolgozni, valamint elősegítik a készségek kialakulását ezen célok eléréséhez. Jelen tanulmány célja annak bemutatása, hogy ezen kormányzáselméleti irányzat egyfelől a globális kormányzáselmélet elvi alapjaira építve, másfelől azt nagyrészben meghaladva, a hagyományos zöldpolitika kereteit messze túlfeszítve kínál alternatívát a jelenleg ismert és alkalmazott kormányzáselméleti berendezkedéseknek. Ezen kormányzáselméleti berendezkedés megvalósulásának első lépcsőfoka az önkormányzatokban keresendő.
Abstract: The so-called “sustainability governance theory” takes the UN’s 2015 Sustainable Development Goals as the framework for its efforts, conceiving of a system of processes and relationships that help build consensus, develop policy proposals, and foster the skills to achieve these goals. The aim of this paper is to demonstrate that this strand of governance theory, building on and largely going beyond the theoretical foundations of global governance theory, offers an alternative to the currently known and applied governance frameworks, going far beyond the traditional green policy framework. The first stage in the implementation of this theory of governance is to be found in local government.
