Absztrakt:
Abstract:
This study examines associations related to the concept of sustainability among Hungarian university students and corporate executives. The aim of the research is to explore which free associations emerge in the responses of the two target groups in relation to sustainability, and to what extent these associations reflect the main dimensions of sustainability as presented in academic literature and policy documents. During the qualitative questionnaire-based data collection, 78 students and 25 company executives provided a total of 303 associative responses. The findings indicate the diverse interpretation of the concept and reveal differing associative emphases between the two groups: student responses more frequently included future-oriented and more abstract categories (e.g. future, environment), while executive responses were more strongly linked to concrete environmental problems (e.g. waste, climate change).
